The marina was dredged in 2019, as many mooring and boat owners are aware. It was a huge effort and a thankless task by John Catchpole to get a consensus amongst the owners to participate and contribute.
The dredging operation was completed at a cost of almost £50,000. The good news is that at the time of writing, it is estimated that the dredging will not need to be done again for another few years.
Goodness knows how much the cost would have increased by the time the marina needs to be dredged yet again.
